Tumor immunoescape during glioma progression
The immune system has a key role in limiting the first steps of tumorigenesis. Our recent studies show that high grade gliomas learn how to suppress immune system activity by lowering their immunogenicity and inducing an anti-inflammatory phenotype in the immune cells.
